ABOUT OUR DONUTS

We do everything from scratch, down to our sprinkles! We use real food made with integrity; we don't use pre-made mixes or artificial flavors and we use all natural ingredients wherever possible.  Our team works excellently to create all glazes and pastry creme fillings by hand. We offer seven rotating donuts everyday, our catalog is now well over 100 options. In addition to these creative options, you can always count on us to have our staples: glazed, cinnamon sugar and chocolate glazed.  These will never change. 

ABOUT OUR SLIDERS

Every slider is made fresh to order when you come to our bar. Our buns are baked and delivered daily, and we only use the highest quality antibiotic and hormone free meats where possible. We also pride ourselves in our partnership with local farmer's markets and Louisiana based vendors to keep business in LA. Everyday we offer three staples on our menu:  

CHEESEBURGER: House Blend Creekstone Black Angus, American Cheese, Campari Tomato, Scratch B&B Pickle, and our signature Slider Sauce 

FRIED CHICKEN: Joyce Farms All Natural Thigh, Sweet & Spicy Slaw, Scratch Candied Jalepenos, & Crispy Chicken Skin 

TOFU: VEGGI Lemongrass-Chile Tofu, Cucumber, Campari Tomato, & Sweet Soy Glaze 

We offer a rotating selection of featured sliders based on market availability and season that are available daily. Depending on the day, our offerings may include Blackened Chicken Caesar, Beef Belly with honeyed goat cheese crema and crispy onion strings, Oyster with micro-chi kara and caper aioli, or even  Shrimp Rangoon with sweet & sour slaw, crispy wonton and 5-spice cream cheese.  

ABOUT OUR COFFEE

We love coffee. We think the best coffee comes from a small artisan production, and not a large-scale industrialized approach. From our beginning we have made an unwavering commitment to micro-, or small-batch roasted coffee. To put it more clearly, we have partnered with 1000 Faces who never roast more than 20lbs. at a time. Through a technique called profile roasting, a technique where individual coffee beans are roasted to find their sweet spot, a special profile of time and temperature variables are created and adhered to that offer our interpretation of perfection. This means that we don’t use traditional terms like light, medium, and dark roasts. At District, we think small is not only beautiful, but delicious too.
